Here I am in lovely Delray Florida—thanks to eBay where my sister bought this lovely timeshare for $300. Wow! This is a really good place to be. The weather is not hollywood perfect but it is 80 degrees, thank you. I can heartily recommend Boheme Bistro (where we drooled over our waiter Rafael) which has gourmet quality food with fresh, just-picked-tasting original salads. I had the bruschetta which was most flavorful. My sisters had raviolli and pizza, both very tasty. The atmosphere is magical if you sit outside in the side court (not on the sidewalk). I also heartily recommend Busch's on the canal. Sit at the outside bar with a view of the water.Tell Curly me and my sisters said "hello!"

Where we are, at Miramar St, there's public access to a great beach with guards and lounge chairs. Down along Atlantic you can walk by shops and other inviting restaurants. I still have 2 days to explore. Yee haw!

A Random Selection of Links Recommended by Perceval Press

  • Alternative Tentacles: Music. I'm now convinced I will never be cool if this is what it looks like. I like the look but it's not me.

  • The Center for Public Integrity: Is this about news? Is this about ethics? Does this describe Viggo's politics?

  • Code Pink: Ah, a woman's site. Does this describe Viggo's politics? I like the boldness of the pink. It definitely screams. Good color choice, ladies. I also like the "Get Started Now" toolkit. Very sweet. Everyone needs a pink slip.

  • KPFK: Listen online to LA news and stuff. Lots of support for the women's movement (very sixties) and Code Pink (see above).

  • Michael Moore: Okay, I admit it, I've been out to lunch. Who is he? A must read for all libertarians. My favorite link is to his list of press inaccuracies (actually it's the only one I read). I really can't believe what I read anymore. You never know when someone, normally sane, will publicly declare an inaccuracy. What is the world coming to?

  • The Vandals: I remember them. They sacked the western half of Europe around the turn of some century. Does this describe Viggo's taste in music? I know someone else is in Perceval Press with Viggo, but his name escapes me right now.

I have nothing against Perceval. I rather like him—especially when he spells his name "Parzival." I feel a lot like him on most days: running away from home, naive, following bad direction without a clue. That may not be the message the author intended but the poor sap doesn't wise up until the end of the book. But, hey, at least he finally gets it. Are we all on the same page now?

Oh, yee haw. The internet finds my own true love! I typed "Where is my own true love?" into Sherlock and this is what looked promising:

  1. A primitive game.

  2. A definition?

  3. A way of life. When you're young everything seems to take forever.

  4. And a Movie.

  5. Not to mention a Dutch man's homage to a poem. Or is that an essay on the movie with a poem at the end? I'm too lazy to get out my Dutch dictionary, which, by the way, is for sale at half.com.

  6. Then there's these people who add a number to any screen name (making it hard to remember) and do other wierd stuff, too. But they have in depth profiles—which means lots of typing. I'm sticking to match.com. Much easier and more fun.

I didn't find out where he is but it was an interesting journey. Maybe the answer can be found at http://www.tarot.com or http://www.oracula.org/oracula?

You know you've been on the web too long when URLs flow effortlessly from your fingertips and you easily compose HTML in Simple Text.

NOTICE
As you may have noticed, this blog is winding down. As soon as I figure out what I can write about every day (or more often than I have heretofore) I'll start a new blog.
