I have installed a brand new eMac for my mother. It took the advertised 10 minutes to set up. Then we spent the next 5 hours transferring files from her old PC computer to the new eMac and setting her preferences for internet, email and document creation. When we started it was raining. After the first hour I looked up, saw the sun and said, "I'm taking the dog out. You want to come?" She said, no, she would stay and spend time with her new eMac. After the evening news and dinner we went back to the eMac and stayed there until 11 p.m. I think she likes it.

This afternoon we'll be going to see Gounod's Faust at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk performed by the Virginia Opera company. I'm sure it will be fabulous.
