Tangentially related to the announced death of Anne McCaffrey whose books caused me to opt out of just about everything else while I was reading them. 

Reminder to self: never add foamy water to a complicated sky. Takes very long to render. I blame Bryce and perhaps maybe my iMac for missing yesterday's sky post. That and I was just too fatigued to stay up an extra 20 minutes to watch it finish and post it.

Like what I really saw when I tried to photograph this moon. Only the sky was black and that gold thing was the moon. It was just so amazing. I can't get over it.

When the moon first rose, I thought it was the sun setting. Then I remembered I was facing east. All I have now is my iPhone camera. The actual moon rise was a lot more dramatic than this.

That's the reflection of the moon in the water. The lights are along the Bay/Bridge/Tunnel bridge road. No lights in the center because that's the tunnel part. And now you know.
