There is a long list of types of boats! One of them is a flying boat. Very appropriate for the spirit boat concept.

A boat is a floating vessel small enough to a) be put on a ship and/or b) able to be lifted out of the water. Good to know what the limits are.

Sky 340 - Goa sunset

Tired of the whole sky thing. Some good stuff came out it and a few realizations. Yet I'm at the end and I wish it were over, or had been over 20 days ago. :::::::sigh::::::::

Sky 255 & 256 - tropical planet

This took 9 hours to render which is why it gets two numbers. Nine hours!

I think it's the trees. I'm not likely to redo this anytime soon. I wish the mountain were more like a sand dune. Oh well.

365: Sky 27 - Hochtaunus

Hoch im Taunus mit Silvia (2002)

I took this photo while visiting relatives in Germany in October of 2002. That's my cousin Silvia. A bunch of us went up to the Cafe Sachs which is a pilgrimage made every time my mother goes over for a visit. It's a funny little story which must wait for another time. This is not a typical German sky although it does happen enough to be ordinary. It was a lovely day. We had a lovely drive up and spent a lovely couple of hours enjoying the coffee and pastries of the Cafe Sachs.

Very charming inside and out with great views. The cakes and coffee are excellent. How could they not be?
