If your hesitating about buying Recent Forgeries (see earlier post) don't. I've listened to the CD and loved it. I listened to it outside lying on the grass in front of my house in the shade under a tree. Lovely. My favorite is the last track, 16. It's music. But not like anything you'll hear on the radio. Enjoy!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch ... I'm not at home because my friend needs someone to watch his dogs. (I'm having withdrawal. Nothing like a MAC but this HP Pavillion is fairly decent.) My most recent browsing has been to the Science Museum of Virginia to check out "Swinging on the Tracks." The musuem used to be a very large train station. The event takes place on the tracks, apparently. I thought they had all been torn out.

My friend lives in the country. uh, huh. That one. I spent part of the day investigating his property with his two white German Shepherds (the girls). There's an old falling down barn that used to house a horse and some other animals. At the moment it's mostly full of hay and barn parts and old tools. Fascinating. Also has an animal-dug hole in the center. I'm glad the animal wasn't there. The girls raced off after a large beast, probably a deer. But they came back. My dog, about half their size, took off, too. But he came back right away when I called. He's like their little brother. He gets to follow them and come in last.

Well, that's all I can come up with. I need to get my computer/net fix now.
